This is a mock crematory website. The chat helper in the bottom right corner is the Aftercare Guide widget. Try a question such as "how long until I get the ashes back" or "how do I tell my kids".
Every answer comes from a written knowledge base of 23 questions and answers, matched to what the family types. It runs entirely in the browser with no AI service and no API key. Business-specific facts such as timing, pickup, and prices are filled in from the business's own settings, so the helper never makes them up.
If someone types something that suggests they may harm themselves, the helper stops answering questions and shows the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988), the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741), and 911, then offers a call from staff. A "talk to a person" option is always available.
